Sharon Mia Kim, D.D.S.
I feel that I am a lifelong learner, and I will never stop learning new ideas and improving upon old ones. I began my education at the University of California, Berkeley, where I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, with a special focus on Neurobiology. I continued on to the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry, earning my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I graduated at the top of my class and had the honor of being invited to be a member of the Dental Honor Fraternity, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Next, I completed my education at the USC School of Dentistry Orthodontics Program, where I received my orthodontics training and a Master's Degree in Craniofacial Biology.
Continuing education courses are an important part in keeping up-to-date with the newest techniques and research. The field is constantly changing and being improved, and as a practitioner I have to keep up with that to provide the best possible care for my patients. I will continue to attend CE courses and lectures and learn from my colleagues as long as I am practicing.
